Dorothy Jeanette Bailey-Hill was introduced to Christ at an early age that led her to unite, fellowship, and serve at The First Arcadia Church of God in Christ as secretary for numerous years. Although she only gave birth to one son, her loving, caring, and nurturing spirit led her to open her doors and show the same love for her nephews and son’s friends. She was united into Holy Matrimony to her teenage sweetheart for 32 years and to this union one son was born. She graduated from Robinson Business College in Monroe, La. She later became employed at the House of Raeford for more than 40 years until retirement.
Those who preceded her in death: Father- Robert Bailey, Mother-Clotiel Bailey, four brothers: Allen Bailey, Robert Louis Bailey, Roosevelt Bailey and Felton Bailey, and four sisters: Rose Mae Bailey, Rhonda Jewel Bailey, Veronica Kay Bailey, and Nellie Jean Bailey. Left to cherish her loving memories, a devoted husband Eddie Lee Hill, one son Demario “Tiffany” Bailey, two special nephews Roderick “Stephanie” Graham, Torie Bailey, four step-daughters: Shameka McLeroy, Tenesas “Zacchaus” Jackson, Shetierriney”Kevin” Ford, and Maria Hill, two brothers: Jessie “Brenda” Bailey, and Micheal Bailey, two sisters: Betty Davis and Annie “Herman” Bailey, ten grandchildren Ke’Yonna, Jordan, Zanecia, Tekiren, Zaccheya, Ja’Marcus, Kevin Jr., Khalayzia, and Demario Jr. and Arieonna who she raised as her own. A best friend and caregiver Loura Johnson, bonus son’s LaDarryl Brown and Roderick “Mary” Daniels. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
