Brenda was born into this life on September 22, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan to her proud parents L.B. and
Willie B. Braggs. She was fourth child of ten children and she was dearly loved.
She attended grade school at Eastside Elementary and graduated from Farmerville High School in 1972.
She attended Grambling State University in 1973. She worked in the food industry as a cook in local
kitchens and until her health failed see was employed at the Union Parish Triad Office.
Brenda loved JESUS, had faith in JESUS and lived a life for him. On March 20, 2021, surrounded by family
and friends she made a peaceful transition into HIS arms. She was member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist
Church and later in life joined the Farmerville Church of God in Christ where she served tirelessly.
On December 10, 1977, Brenda married her lifetime partner Chester Wayne Hill. During this union a
blended family was formed. Chester faithfully loved and cared for her until her last breath and will truly
miss his angel. Brenda expressed endless love for all of her children and grand children.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents L.B. and Willie B. Braggs her four brothers James Charles.
George Braggs, Donald Braggs, Darrell Braggs and one sister Mary Braggs Holland.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 43 years Chester Hill, eight (8) children Antonio F.
Braggs (Melissa), Tateachala S. Braggs, Brandy N. Hill, Theodis W. Gatson (Kelly) Anita E. McGee, Erica L.
Hill, LaQuetha Atkins, Lee Hill (Rhonda) all of Farmerville LA.; Two (2) Sisters Carolyn Fields of Colorado
Springs, Co; Wanda Braggs of Grambling, LA; Two(2) brothers Bobby Braggs of Farmerville La; David
Braggs (Cynthia) of Williston, ND; one uncle L.T. Jones of Farmerville LA, four (4) aunts Christene Davis
Houston, TX; Inez Jones, Geraldine Jones and Lurie Jean Riley all of Farmerville, LA; one very special
neighbor Suzanne Franklin, Thirty-seven(37) grand-children and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
