Life Notes
The Journey Began on April 4,1957 when the second of three children and the only boy, Verlon Vestal Malone was born to Verlon and Grace Garr Malone. Vestal had a gentle Spirit and a big heart.

At an early age he united with the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where BTU was his passion. He was not boastful but was very proud that he could race through the books of the Bible faster than anyone and earn extra cookies.

He attended Jackson Parish schools participating in several sports. He was a very smart student and was able to learn with ease. He graduated from Jonesboro-Hodge High School in 1975. After graduation he worked for Stone Container as an oiler for a period.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Verlon and Grace Malone.

He leaves to always cherish his memories, children Keiron Malone (Tiffany), Latisha Glands, Amanda Bradley, and a very special “son” Kendrick Adams; two sisters, Jackye Belton (David) and Sandra Gray (Roger), 8 grandchildren, Symone Watkins (Justin), Alycea Hall, Alexis Hall, Jaquintain Brown, Khaliyah Malone, Keiri’A Malone, Kaelon Malone and Bradly Hunter; a very special friend and companion April Jenkins, aunts Jean Anthony(Ardra) and Lela J. Malone, a very faithful niece, Brandye Andrews and a host of neices, nephews, cousins and friends.
